Melbourne Design Week: Illuminance Glass Exhibition

Viridian Glass is proud to support Glaas Inc with their exhibition for Melbourne Design Week, Illuminance: A vision of the future through glass.

GLAAS Inc. is a not for profit who focus on developing the use of glass in art, architecture and construction in Australia through promotion, research, education, training and creative collaboration. Glaas Inc are an affiliation of Melbourne Polytechnic who run registered training courses in glass.

Illuminance – a vision for the future in glass, explores the importance of glass practically, visually and culturally on the human condition and the built environment.

The exhibition will demonstrate the use of glass from the past right through to modern times, exploring how glass has had a significant impact on the way we live by enhancing the spaces in which we reside, work and play, 

Viridian Glass will make a special appearance in this display, we look forward to sharing more soon. 

The exhibition will be on display at the Australian Centre for Glass Design at Melbourne Polytechnic Prahran at 140 High Street, Windsor from Friday the 26th March until Saturday 1st May 2021.
